Formal Start of Hoisting Installation of Steel Structures of Qatar Tower

 

  At 8:08PM of February 11st, 2010 (Doha local time), commanded by a whistle, the tower crane slowly lifted up a steel column of 4t, marking the formal start of hoisting installation of steel structures of Qatar Tower.  
　　Qatar Tower is the fourth steel structure installation project undertaken by MCC Chengong Shanghai Wuye International Engineering Company after Doha Tower, Mitsubish Garage and Qatar Gate. Qatar Tower is composed of 3-floors underground and 32 floors above ground. The main building is a high-rise building. The height of steel structure installation is 124.06m and the tonnage of steel structure installation is about 3000t. The installation period is planned to be 1 year.
