Hoisting Installation of Entry Barrel of Rotary Kiln of Namibia OHORONGO Cement Plant

Namibia local time January 8^th 2010, The hoisting installation of entry part of rotary kiln of Namibia OHORONGO Cement Plant which is constructed by MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye was successfully completed.

  The entry part of rotary kiln of Namibia OHORONGO Cement Plant is composed of 3- section barrel and a rolling ring (including a set of fastening device).The total weight is 105 tons and the total length is 19 meters. The hoisting installation method adopts 250t & 120t caterpillar cranes. Because of the limitation of the rotary kiln’s surrounding foundation temporary work, the cranes can not choose the best positions. Before hoisting, the project department had made a careful organization. During the hoisting, leaded by the project department’s leaders, project’s management personnel of technology, quality and safety supervised the whole process, so as to ensure the successful completion of hoisting work.
   Now, Namibia OHORONGO Cement Plant’s equipment installation work has fully started. The successful hoisting completion has laid experience & confidence for the hoisting installation of rotary kiln’s exit part and middle part, and it has also shown a good sign for the whole Cement Plant’s equipments installation.
