After careful preparation of Qatar Doha GATE Project Department of MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye International Engineering Company, overcoming the bad weather of more than 50℃, the first set of truss started to be installed by hoisting at 16:58pm of August 12.
The overhanging part of steel structure installation of Doha GATE Project has four layers. Due to the design land tower crane location， this part installation can only adopt the most primitive and difficult “inverse installation method”, i.e. start hoisting installation from the 17th layer to first layer. The hoisting installation of lower layers must adopt the “relay” between tower crane and chain hoist.
